• On left side there are 6 solar panels (we start with them) - 1.5Kw max power (polycrystalline).
• On left side up there are 4 solar panels (we added late). Can be set up from vertical to 45 degree (winter/summer time) - 1.2Kw max power (polycrystalline).
• On right side up there are 2 solar panels (we added later). Special for winter time, facing south west - 0.68Kw max power (monocrystalline).
• On left side up after the solar panels is a small storage. This was the place where we had: solar charger, power inverter and the lead batteries.

More about our solar experience ..

• Each solar panels group has its own solar charger (MPPT).
• Our 4 Kw inverter in idle consumes 50 Watts (in 24 hours 1.2Kw). Our 2 Kw inverter in idle consumes 12 Watts (in 24 hours 0.288Kw). What do you think?
• We start with an inverter charger (4Kw) and we get late another one (2Kw - special setup for our Lithium LTO batteries).
Our battery bank (LTO 3 of 24V 100 Amp = 7.2Kw).
• Later we moved our Power plant for outside on the basement (winter problems)

More informations/advise ..

• Each solar panels group has its own solar charger.
• We had and recommend inverter to be: Pure Sine Wave, low frequency having toroidal transformer inside. Do not use high frequency inverter!!!

Our experience on electricity consumption ..

• Our 4 Kw inverter in idle consumes 50 Watts (in 24 hours 1.2Kw). Our 2 Kw inverter in idle consumes 12 Watts (in 24 hours 0.288Kw). What do you think?
• On July/December we used: 3.29Kw/2.21Kw water pump, 1.8Kw/1.7Kw instant (LP) water heater, 30Kw/14.5Kw medium fridge, 14Kw/15Kw LED TV .. What do you think?
• When you live off grid, every watt consumed counts.
• When you live off the grid, every watt consumed counts.
• The location where you want to build off grid system is very important in the equipment used and solar panels installation.
